Asus has introduced their new smarpthone Asus Pegasus 2 Plus which comes as the successor of the Pegasus X002 and is named as the Pegasus 2 Plus X550 in China. The Pegasus 2 Plus comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD display having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The earlier model of the Pegasus was launched last year and this device has been launched with some decent specifications.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and is supported by 3GB of RAM. The device runs on android Lollipop 5.1.1 with Zen UI over it. The device has a 13MP rear or primary camera with LED flash and a 8MP front facing camera. The device is powered by a 3030mAh battery to power the fullHD display and 3GB of RAM. Not all details of the device have been made available at the moment and the pricing along with connectivity features like SIM number and type will be update shortly.

The Pegasus 2 Plus is a complete overhaul from the earlier Pegasus X002 model which was powered by 64-bit quad-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6732 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display and was priced at CNY 799 which is approximately Rs. 8,000 INR. The pricing of the latest model is not yet known.
Along with the Pegasus 2 Plus Asus is working on another device called the Zenfone Go which was doing rounds and is said to be a budget device with decent specifications set to be priced in the budget category range. Asus is surely trying to capture all of the market by releasing device in every segment of the category
