Android 7.0 Nougat beta test begins for Honor 5C with 5.0 EMUI update

Honor 5C is one the successful smartphones by the company and now they have started the Android 7.0 Nougat beta test program in India. The company has mentioned that the beta test program will be taking place in 2 batches and the users will be getting a preview version of the latest OS for users who opt for this. The participants will be using the beta version of the software and help in identifying the bugs in preview versions of Honor’s EMUI software.

When the user opts for the BETA test program, he/she will be receiving the latest Beta version of the OS – EMUI via and OTA or over-the-air update. The number of users to try out the beta testing is limited to two batches and the number is also very limited – 1st batch has 50 users who will be testing the first beta release while the second beta release will be tested by 100 users.

The new features which are being updated to the device with the latest EMUI 5.0 are App drawer, Stock android style recent Apps card, App twin for using multiple accounts, Contact QR code active sharing etc. For users to update the device successfully to the Beta version of EMUI 5.0 the device should be running on version NEM-L22C67B140 / B151.
